A computer that is adequate for the game
to be played is fine for BlueTiger. All the computing power needed
for BlueTiger operation is done on-board in our custom proprietary
electronics. We do not burden the game computer in any significant
way. The typical effect on frame rate is minimal. BlueTiger connects
directly or through a hub to the game computer via common 10BaseT/100BaseTX
Ethernet with RJ45 sockets and CAT5 cable. DirectX 7 is the minimum
DirectX version that supports the BlueTiger Steering Wheel Console.
However games will look and respond better with DirectX 9c and
it is recommended.
The current PC Game Computer being supplied
by BlueTiger is Rackmount, has Intel I 5 socket, 1156 Motherboard,
Intel i5-750 at 2.66GHz, 4Gb DDR 3, 1333MHz, 320Gb SATA II 7200RPM
Hard drive, 24X DVDR/W GeForce GTX 260 896Mb DDR 3 memory, 4U
Rackmount Chassis with 650w power supply, Windows 7 Premium 64Bit
Edition, wireless keyboard, and power cable [or equal] ). Custom
PC Game Computer configurations are also available from all BlueTiger
Dealers.
